Cleome 'Sparkler Rose'

Cleome hasslerana

Often called Spider Flower, cleome produce open, fluffy clusters of flowers. The plant stems usually have short, strong spines and the leaves are divided like the fingers on a hand. The Sparkler series is heat and sun tolerant and are bushy and short. Does well as a background plant to a flower bed. Plants are very likely to reseed themselves the second season.

Bloom Time: Spring, Summer, Fall

Exposure: Full Sun

Growth Habit: Grows to 3' tall. Space

Soil and Water: Plant in well-drained soil. Water 2-3 times until established, after which water when needed.

Hardiness: Annual, will reseed.
