Sedum spurium ‘Dragon’s Blood’ — Red Groundcover Sedum

Description

Dragon’s Blood Sedum is a low, spreading plant with small, fleshy leaves. The leaves can turn deep red or burgundy in bright sun and cool weather. Pink-red flowers rise over the mat in summer.

This hardy sedum works well in rock gardens, sunny beds, slopes, and pots. It needs little care once it has settled in.

Easy Care

Where to Plant

Use Dragon’s Blood along a sunny edge or where you want a low groundcover. It can spread into a colorful mat. You can also pair it with the taller Autumn Joy Sedum for a mix of height and form.
