Syngonium wendlandii — Velvet Arrowhead Vine

Description

Syngonium wendlandii, or Velvet Arrowhead Vine, has dark green leaves with a soft texture and a silver stripe down the center. Its rich foliage gives it a bold look indoors.

The stems can climb a support or trail from a pot. It stays easy to manage with light trimming.

Light

Give it bright, indirect light. Strong sun can scorch the leaves. Low light may slow growth. For white variegation, see Variegated Arrowhead Vine.

Water and Soil

Climb or Trail

Train the plant up a pole if you want upright growth. Let it trail if you want a softer look. Stem pieces with a node can root and make new plants.

Simple Care
