Sempervivum ‘Reinhardt’ — Hen and Chicks Succulent

Description

Sempervivum ‘Reinhardt’ is a hardy hen and chicks succulent with neat rosettes and strong seasonal color. It forms small offsets around the main plant and slowly grows into a full clump.

Sun and Fast Drainage

Grow ‘Reinhardt’ in full sun and gritty soil that drains fast. Let the soil dry between drinks. For another cold-tough choice, see Sempervivum ‘Blue Ice’.

Easy Care

Use it in rock gardens, shallow pots, wall pockets, or dry borders. Too much water can cause rot, so good drainage matters more than rich soil.

Mix it with other rosette forms such as Sempervivum ‘Jade Rose’. For a blue upright contrast, add Blue Chalksticks.

Built to Spread

Each mature rosette can make new chicks around its base. Over time, those offsets fill open spaces and create a dense patch with very little care.
