Caladium ‘Luang Pu Yim’ — Red and Green Caladium

Description

Caladium ‘Luang Pu Yim’ has bright red, heart-shaped leaves with green edges. Fine pale veins may add more detail. It makes a bold accent in shaded beds and pots.

This tropical plant grows best in warmth. Protect it from frost and cold soil.

Light

Water and Soil

Use loose soil that drains well. Keep the soil lightly moist while the plant is growing. Do not leave the roots in wet soil. Caladium ‘Talok Prakeait’ likes similar care.

Warm-Season Care

Feed lightly during active growth. Remove old leaves as they fade. Growth can slow or stop when days cool. In cold areas, protect the tuber from frost.
