Description

Farfugium japonicum ‘Firefly’, commonly called leopard plant, is grown for glossy rounded green leaves splashed with bright yellow spotting. The foliage brings strong color and texture to shaded beds, protected patios, and containers where many sun-loving plants struggle.

In favorable conditions, mature plants can also send up yellow daisy-like flowers above the foliage in fall. ‘Firefly’ performs best with shade, consistent moisture, and protection from harsh afternoon sun.
