Philodendron brandtianum — Silver Leaf Philodendron

Description

Philodendron brandtianum, or Silver Leaf Philodendron, has heart-shaped green leaves with silver marks. The vines can trail from a pot or climb a support.

Young plants fit well on shelves and plant stands. A climbing plant can make larger leaves as it grows. Give it warm air and room to spread.

Light

Water and Soil

Climb or Trail

Let the stems trail, or train them up a pole or trellis. Trim long stems to shape the plant. Stem pieces with a node can root and make new plants.

Simple Care
