Tradescantia spathacea ‘Sitara’s Gold’ — Golden Oyster Plant

Description

Tradescantia spathacea ‘Sitara’s Gold’ is a bright tropical plant with green and gold leaves over rich purple backs. Its neat rosettes add strong color to pots, beds, and bright indoor spaces.

This plant is also called Golden Oyster Plant or Golden Moses-in-the-Cradle. It grows fast in warm weather and stays compact with light trimming.

Light

Water and Soil

Use loose soil that drains fast. Water when the top of the soil starts to dry. Do not let the roots stay wet. Tradescantia zebrina ‘Green & White’ also likes loose soil and bright light.

Growth and Care
