Description

Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Cebu Blue’ is a tropical climbing aroid known for elongated, metallic blue-green foliage. Juvenile leaves are smooth and narrow, while mature growth can become larger and develop natural splits when the vine is given strong support and favorable growing conditions.

Light and Growth Habit

Grow ‘Cebu Blue’ in bright, indirect light for strong color and steady growth. It can trail from a basket or shelf, but climbing a moss pole or trellis encourages larger mature foliage. For other Epipremnum choices, compare it with Epipremnum ‘Marble Queen’ and the brighter Epipremnum ‘Neon Golden’.

Watering and Soil

Allow the upper portion of the potting mix to dry slightly before watering again, then water thoroughly and let excess moisture drain away. Use a loose, airy mix with good drainage. Consistently saturated soil can lead to root decline.

Feeding and Training

Feed lightly during active growth with a balanced houseplant fertilizer according to label directions. Prune long vines when needed to control size or encourage branching, and attach climbing stems loosely to a support as they grow.

Propagation

Stem cuttings with at least one healthy node root readily in water or a moist, airy propagation mix. Once a cutting has established roots and new growth, move it into a well-drained container.
